These maple burl pieces had some of the most beautiful grain I have seen but were too small to be used for many traditional projects. But when this client asked for a small round epoxy table (36” diameter) I knew these pieces would be perfect for this project! My favorite element to epoxy work is that it allows you to use pieces of wood that would otherwise be too small or unusable, which is often some really beautiful wood.
